Regional HUBMasters
What will be expected of me and how much time will I have to invest a year?
- Founding member virtual meeting with Co-founders of the ELA, once a year
- Lead, host and moderate 1 x online / virtual meeting within the relevant region
- Lead, host and moderate 1 x in-person meeting within the relevant region
- Recruit speakers for virtual and in-person meetings with the help of The Gift Club
- Identify and manage the topics / themes and agenda for each online and in-person meeting, assisted by The Gift Club
- Recruit other members to the ELA's UK regional HUB through your own network
A HUBMaster is the ‘face’ of each region and is involved in the direction and content of the association as a founding member.
They promote the ELA in their region and recruit individual and corporate brand members utilising their own networks as well as hosting and promoting 1x online networking event a year and 1x in-person meeting. They also help promote the association’s mentorship programme and identify mentors and mentees.
Total investment time per year: 20 hours
Venue selection and event management, virtual meeting platforms, marketing, email
communication, member on-boarding, printing, etc will all be supported and delivered by The Gift Club.
Responsibilities of the ELA Primary and Secondary HUBMasters:
Host and promote 1 x face-to-face meeting per year in their region
Primary HUBMaster to recruit Secondary HUBMasters for support and to share duties
Take part in twice-yearly board meetings with The Gift Club CEO and Co-Founder
Host and promote 2 x online networking events per year in their region
To promote the ELA in their region and recruit individual and corporate brand members utilising their own networks
In the future, to promote the ELA's mentorship programme in their region and identify mentors and mentees
